SACNAS National Diversity in STEM Conference

October 11, 2018 - October 13, 2018

Whatever your goals are in STEM, we want you to know they are possible. The SACNAS conference consistently provides a unique intersection of cutting-edge science, familia, motivation, and opportunity for students and scientists at all levels.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) was formed in 1973 as part of the Chicano and American Indian civil rights movements. Empowered by the collective social progress, a handful of Native American and Chicano scientists united to form the first society for those most underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Since then, SACNAS has grown to nearly 6,000 members, 115+ chapters, and 20,000 friends and partners. Together, we are the premier multicultural and multidisciplinary STEM diversity organization in the country. Faithful to our founders’ original vision, we continue to change the face of science every day through programming, partnerships, and national events.
