As a first-generation Director of Admissions, my passion in higher education admission is founded on helping other first-generation students navigate the process with the insight and transparency I would have wanted. Topics include time management, gap years, retaking courses to improve GPA, taking courses as a transient student, personal statements, letters of recommendation, and navigating admonitory actions.
