This hands-on experience will allow campers to explore the profession through various learning experiences. The camp is led by rising second- and third-year pharmacy students and facilitated by pharmacy faculty. Our goal is to familiarize students with the pharmacy profession and the many opportunities available in this field!

Throughout the week campers will learn the preparation necessary to enter a professional school of pharmacy as well as experience first-hand the various duties and responsibilities practicing pharmacists encounter on a daily basis.

These activities will range from compounding lotions and gels, learning how to take blood pressure, checking blood glucose, team work, and patient counseling skills. Campers will also be able to work side-by-side with current pharmacy students, learning what it takes to succeed navigating a pharmacy curriculum.
