Those who will be high school juniors or seniors in the fall of 2020 who are considering pharmacy as a career are invited to attend Manchester University Pharmacy Camp from July 7 to 10.

Campers will do hands-on pharmacy activities, attend a mini lecture series, take part in team-building exercises and visit settings where pharmacists work.

Pharmacy professionals from Manchester will share how the profession fits into the broader field of health care and offer advice about preparing for a pre-pharmacy program in college.

Sessions will be on both the North Manchester and Fort Wayne campuses of Manchester University. Overnight accommodations will be in North Manchester, and travel between campuses is provided.

To be eligible for the camp, a student must have a 3.0 high school GPA at the time of application. The cost of the camp is $200, which includes staying in a college residence hall, a camp T-shirt and social events, including a Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball game.

Those attending Pharmacy Camp as rising high school seniors are eligible for a Manchester University undergraduate Visit Scholarship, which awards $500 annually.
