Dr. Natalie Park
Introduction

Dr. Natalie Park, Pharm.D., is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and a shining example of where a pharmacy degree can take you. Fueled by a passion for innovation, digital health, and entrepreneurship, she founded Pharmesol—an AI-powered pharmacy assistant that's transforming the way practitioners and patients connect. With vision and determination, Dr. Park turned her Pharm.D. into a dynamic career path that blends purpose with flexibility, proving that pharmacy isn’t just a profession—it’s a launchpad for limitless possibilities.

Why Pharmacy

I moved to the US when I was a teenager and I didn't understand how to access care. When I experienced an allergic reaction for the first time in my life, I went to the pharmacy because I didn't know what else to do. This experience is what inspired me to become a pharmacist.

Current Role and Responsibilities

As a CEO of a technology company serving pharmacies, my days are a mix of strategy, customer engagement, and problem-solving. I spend time talking to pharmacy leaders to understand their needs, working closely with our team to prioritize product improvements, and making sure we’re focused on the right goals to grow the business. No two days are the same, but it’s all about keeping momentum and delivering real value to our customers.

Work/Life Balance

I don’t really believe in a strict work/life balance. Instead, I focus on understanding what’s truly valuable to me and aim to stay aligned with that. Sometimes that means working long hours, and other times it means stepping back—but as long as it’s in service of what matters most, it feels right.

Challenges

The most challenging aspect of my career has been dealing with uncertainties—whether it’s shifting market dynamics, evolving customer needs, or navigating the ups and downs of building a company. Making decisions without always having a clear answer is tough, but it’s also what makes the journey exciting and meaningful.

Rewards

There are many achievements I’m proud of, but the most rewarding moments are when I see patients say 'thank you' because of the impact our product has had on their care.

Advice for Students and Aspiring Professionals

My advice would be: take initiative, stay curious, and follow what genuinely interests you. Passion will keep you going, but perseverance is what gets you through the tough parts. Don’t wait for permission to start—build, experiment, and learn as much as you can along the way.
