WCU School of Pharmacy attends William Carey University's Careers in Healthcare Day
Dr. David Weldon, Dean of WCU’s School of Pharmacy, Dr. Kristopher Virga, Associate Dean of Pharmacy and Assessment and Dr. Joseph Nosser, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice will be attending the 2025 Careers in Healthcare Day at William Carey University’s Hattiesburg Campus.
This annual event invites over 300 high school students from the local area to the campus and learn more about healthcare profession opportunities. They will learn what a pharmacist does, what a student needs to do to become a pharmacist, and what the requirements are for our accelerated Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Dr. Weldon will be giving a presentation to the students and Dr. Virga and Dr. Nosser will be available for students to visit their table and talk more about pharmacy opportunities.
