The goal of this week-long camp is to provide students with an overview of the different fields of pharmacy and their relationship to patient health, disease, and society. Students will learn primarily through hands-on experiences and experiments. Students will keep a notebook and will express their results by graphs and calculations. The course is designed for students with an interest in pharmacy and other biomedical sciences (including careers in pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, laboratory research, etc.). The course is taught by pharmacists, biomedical scientists, and medicinal chemists.
